2012 NFL Draft Rumors: Bronco In Prime Place For Some Of The Best Players Still Available

The 2012 NFL Draft resumes on Friday night with Rounds 2 and 3 ready to go at a brisk pace -- or so we hope. Round 1 came in at just three hours, which might be a good indication that we should expect picks to fly again. And for the Denver Broncos, that means they have three chances to nab new talent: twice in the second round and once in the third.

The Broncos are definitely in a position to grab some of the best players available on Mocking the Draft's board on Friday evening. Defensive tackles Devon Still (No. 13 overall) and Brandon Thompson (No. 23 overall) could certainly be in play for the Broncos at No. 36, as would be No. 46 overall's Jerel Worthy. Defensive tackle is an area of need for the team after the departure of Brodrick Bunkley, and one of those players should be available when the Broncos pick.

Running backs Lamar Miller and Bernard Pierce are also available still after the Broncos passed on Doug Martin and David Wilson in the first round. Or maybe the Broncos want to nab No. 62 overall Brock Osweiler to be Peyton Manning's understudy for a couple of years. Oh, the possibilities that exist....
