We're not even 24 hours past the first round of the 2012 NFL Draft, but the draft grades are already rolling out for selections made and not made on Thursday evening. The SB Nation YouTube team and NFL analysts stayed up all night to break down the first round, and in the AFC West the Denver Broncos come out with the best grade from the first day:
As we saw in the video, the Broncos come away with a solid 'A' grade from Ryan Van Bibber. He likes the Broncos two trades down because they didn't move down too far -- just 11 spots. Van Bibber thinks this move will pay off if tight end Coby Fleener and a defensive lineman are taken with the team's two second-round picks, but I'm not sold on John Elway and John Fox being that obvious with their choices on Friday night.
The San Diego Chargers receive a 'B' from David Fucillo for Melvin Ingram's selection while the Kansas City Chiefs take a 'C' for Dontari Poe, who has potential that might not translate to the NFL. The Oakland Raiders come in last with a 'C-' as a result of not having a first-round pick, which they traded for Carson Palmer.
