2012 NFL Draft Results: Kansas City Chiefs Select DT Dontari Poe With 11th Pick

With the 11th overall pick, the Kansas City Chiefs have selected Memphis Tigers defensive tackle Dontari Poe. Poe declared early for the draft, leaving after his junior season. He has the potential to be the biggest boom-or-bust player in this draft

Poe has been knocked by some scouts for not knocking around his Conference USA opponents, but he will be under the tutelage of new Chiefs coach, Romeo Crennel. Poe should anchor the 3-4 defensive line by playing nose tackle for the team.

If Poe can turn his potential into production for the Chiefs, the Denver Broncos could be in for a world of hurt. He will go up against an offensive line that includes Zane Beadles, J.D. Walton and Chris Kuper on the interior. Will Poe be able to beat them consistently in the years to come?
