There is far from any consensus on which player the Denver Broncos will select with the No. 25 overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft. The NFL Network's Albert Breer complicates the routine mock drafts by predicting cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick will fall to the Broncos:
The Broncos' secondary needs help, and the fact that Kirkpatrick -- who's gotten knocked around lately by draftniks -- falls here is a godsend for Denver.
Even with Champ Bailey and the newly-signed Tracy Porter, the Broncos do need more help in the secondary. The team basically relied on Bailey for the entire 2011 season with Andre Goodman doing more harm than good. And potentially down the line in a season or two, Bailey could make the move to safety, allowing Porter and Kirkpatrick to man the corners.
