2012 NFL Draft: Denver Broncos Hold 7 Draft Picks

The 2012 NFL Draft begins on Thursday evening with the first round, where the Denver Broncos have just one draft pick: the No. 25 overall choice. In total the Broncos have seven selections, but that is certainly open for change. John Elway and John Fox aren't afraid to wheel and deal during the draft.

The Broncos will select once each in the first, second and third rounds. The team has two fourth-round picks as a result of acquiring the No. 108 pick from the New York Jets in the Tim Tebow trade. They also acquired a sixth-round pick in that deal, the only choice they have in that round. The team's own sixth-round choice went to the Philadelphia Eagles in the 2010 Joe Mays trade (after J.J. Arrington failed to make the 53-man roster). Denver sent its seventh round choice to New York as the other piece moved in the Tebow deal.

The Broncos have the St. Louis Rams' fifth-round choice as a result of the Brandon Lloyd trade, upgraded from a sixth-round choice upon Lloyd's 30th reception with the team. Denver's own selection in the fifth round went to the Cleveland Browns to complete the Brady Quinn trade.

Here is the complete list of Denver Broncos draft picks entering Thursday's first round:
