NFL Draft 2012: Denver Broncos Linked To DT Dontari Poe In Tribune Mock Draft

The Denver Broncos hold the 25th pick in the first round of the 2012 NFL Draft, which will be conducted on Thursday night in New York. Denver GM John Elway has plenty of options, with most mock drafts projecting the Broncos to focus their attention on defense. There's a variety of names being throw around and plenty of talented pass rushers in the class. The Broncos should see a name they like when it's their turn to pick,

Sam Farmer of the Tribune has the Broncos selecting 350-pound Memphis Tiger defensive tackle Dontari Poe at No. 25.

25. Broncos: Dontari Poe, DT, Memphis

Poe has boom/bust potential. He's a physical phenom whose tape is unimpressive. If a team taps into that potential, look out.

Poe is a very large human who put up great numbers at the combine but didn't have much sack production in college.
