2012 NFL Mock Draft: Don Banks Projects DT Michael Brockers To Broncos

We are one week away for the 2012 NFL Draft, which means even more rampant speculation over where players will wind up going in the first round -- or even go in the first round. While there is no general consensus on whom the Broncos will select, Sports Illustrated's Don Banks agrees with fellow co-worker Peter King that the team should draft LSU Tigers defensive tackle Michael Brockers:

Brockers was once considered a top certain top-15 pick, and the Broncos are starting to feel like they're the NFL's charmed team this offseason. Denver finds its replacement for the departed Brodrick Bunkley, who left for New Orleans via free agency.

And yet, one can just as easily go out and find a mock draft that predicts the Broncos will select a running back like the Boise St. Broncos Doug Martin. The defensive tackle pick seems far more likely, but we could also be completely up-ended and see an entirely different position addressed next Thursday.
