The Denver Broncos hold the No. 57 overall pick in the second round of the NFL Draft, and while there has been plenty of focus on what they'll do with their first round selection, later picks often produce the most surplus value. With that concept in mind, Wes Bunting of the National Football Post created a two-round mock for the 2012 NFL Draft and has Denver taking Virginia Tech running back David Wilson at No. 57.
Here's what Bunting had to say about Wilson :
He's a compact kid who runs stronger/harder than you would expect from a guy his size. Has a dynamic quality to his game both inside and in the open field, and looks capable of maturing into a very good NFL running back early on in the NFL.
The clock is certainly ticking on Knowshon Moreno at this point, but will the Broncos take a running back that early in the draft? Stay tuned to 2012 NFL Draft coverage on SB Nation Denver for more heading into the draft.
