2012 NFL Mock Draft: Don Banks Projects Broncos To Take Michael Brockers In First Round

The Denver Broncos are projected to select LSU defensive tackle Michael Brockers with the No. 25 overall pick in the latest mock draft from Sports Illustrated's Don Banks. Brockers has been brought up frequently by analysts as a good fit for Denver in the upcoming draft given his ability to change the game at the line of scrimmage.

The Broncos defense got run on in the second half of 2011, and Brockers is a prospect who can develop into a middle-of-the-line anchor for John Fox's team. Stanford tight end Coby Fleener is the name to know if Denver opts for offense in the first round.

Other analysts have also brought up Fleener as a potentially good fit given how the Broncos offense will presumably look with Peyton Manning pulling the strings. Manning always loved using tight end Dallas Clark as a receiver in his Colts days, and Fleener could potentially emerge as a similarly effective offensive weapon.
