Peyton Manning Update: Broncos Owner Pat Bowlen Will Open Coffers For QB, According To Report

The first stop on the Peyton Manning Free Agency Frenzy begins with the Denver Broncos, which started on Friday afternoon. But it will continue on with the Arizona Cardinals and the Miami Dolphins. There may be a fourth team eventually, possibly the Kansas City Chiefs, but we only know the reported meetings with three teams so far. We certainly should expect Broncos owner Pat Bowlen to spend the money to get Manning to come to the Mile High City, reports the Denver Post.

The Broncos have nearly $50 million in cap space, which is only part of the answer. Bowlen will also have the cash on hand to make sure that they make this a fight with other teams for Manning's services. The Post's sources claim this is a "whatever it takes" situation, but, well, that opens a whole lot of things if Manning doesn't win up in Denver.

Manning is currently in Denver.
