March Madness is in full swing, and it has nothing to do with college basketball. The Indianapolis Colts cut quarterback Peyton Manning on Wednesday, and the 35-year old is already drawing tons of interest from a slew of teams. One of those teams is the Denver Broncos, led by its GM John Elway.
According to SI's Peter King, the Broncos would love to add Manning.
Denver wants Manning "desperately,'' one competitor for Peyton tells me.

Given the constant swirl of attention surrounding current Denver quarterback Tim Tebow, this is unquestionably the juiciest landing spot for Manning. Tebow led Denver on playoff push after taking over as the starting QB last season, but he certainly doesn't have the resume of Manning. No one does.
It was reported yesterday that Manning prefers staying in the AFC.
