Broncos Free Agency 2012: Jacob Tamme, Denver Still Negotiating

The Denver Broncos lost out on Indianapolis Colts center Jeff Saturday to the Green Bay Packers, but they could still bring in tight end Jacob Tamme, reports the NFL Network's Jason La Canfora:

Indeed, Broncos are still negotiating w/ Jacob Tamme despite earlier TE signing. Seattle also pushing for Tamme, a former Colt

As La Canfora alludes to in the tweet, the Broncos signed Joel Dreessen, formerly of the Houston Texans and a Colorado St. Rams alum, on Friday morning.

One might venture a guess and say that Peyton Manning's teammates don't really want to follow him to Denver. They've already played with him for a couple of years, so why not go elsewhere and see how successful they can be without Manning?
