The Denver Broncos are a day away from finding out TE Joel Dreessen's decision concerning the 2012 season. According Jeff Legwold of The Denver Post, Dreessen is expected to announce his destination on Friday morning:
Texans free agent tight end Joel Dreessen will choose between Broncos and Texans Friday morning.
— Jeff Legwold(@Jeff_Legwold) March 22, 2012
Dreessen, who turns 30 in the 212 season, has played part-time starter and pass-catching tight end for the Houston Texans over the last three seasons, and he has accumulated 1191 yards since 2009 and caught 11 TDs -- good for 19th best in the league during that three-year span.
Both the Texans and the Broncos have been making a push for the veteran TE, but the recent signing of QB Peyton Manning may help sway the free agent's decision.
