NFL Free Agency 2012: Matthew Mulligan Visiting Broncos

The Denver Broncos continue their free agency period with not another Colts player on Wednesday morning, but with tight end Matthew Mulligan, formerly of the New York Jets, reports the Denver Post's Mike Klis. Mulligan is a blocking tight end who has six career catches in three seasons.

Klis believes that the plan appears to be the creation of a tight end combo that replaces Daniel Fells and Dante Rosario, who left through free agency. Former Indianapolis Colts tight end Jacob Tamme would be the other half of that combo by being the pass-catching tight end. Tamme is visiting the Broncos on Wednesday, too.

Welcome to the new Denver Broncos.
