Tim Tebow Trade Rumors: QB Hopes For Move To Florida, According To Report

Tim Tebow has apparently accepted his fate and is ready for a trade out of the Denver Broncos' organization. He has apparently told Brad and Monica Culpepper (the former a one-time Tampa Bay Buccaneers player) that he hopes to be traded to a team in Florida, according to WTAM (via Pro Football Talk):

"Brad and I just had dinner with Tim last week and I don’t think this comes as a shock or surprise to him that Manning was actually going to go there," she [Monica] said. "And in all honesty, Tim said, ‘I miss home. I miss the South. And hopefully I’ll land somewhere in Florida.’ I sure hope Jacksonville takes him because he’s such a great kid, such a good player and would be so thrilled to come back to the South."

The Jacksonville Jaguars have been mentioned ad nauseam because owner Shad Khan is a big fan of Tebow's, but his football people, including general manager Gene Smith, are not. Also, Chad Henne was recently signed to be Blaine Gabbert's backup.

The Miami Dolphins could use a quarterback after missing out on Peyton Manning and Matt Flynn. Back in October, Miami did go crazy for Tebow when the Broncos came to town for a game (that launched Tebow Time).
