Depending on what happens with Peyton Manning, the Denver Broncos will certainly feel the ripple effects in the 2012 NFL Draft, especially with their own pick. Defensive tackle still appears as the most likely pick for the Broncos, which is exactly where Ryan Van Bibber goes for the Broncos in his latest SB Nation 2012 NFL mock draft:
25. Denver Broncos, Devon Still, DT/DE, Penn State
Denver needs to get stronger and more capable of getting more pressure along its defensive front. Still would be a fine addition, if he really were to fall this far. The defensive tackle picture is unsettled. Denver will have several possibilities for their defensive front with this pick. If they end up winning the Peyton Manning sweepstakes, this pick could change.
With the team looking to re-sign Brodrick Bunkley, the Broncos could still use a young talent like Still to provide depth and an eventual anchor on the defensive line. And if Bunkley doesn't come back, the need on the line is only exacerbated, especially with Ty Warren injury-prone and coming off a missed 2011 season.
