After a weekend of no news on Peyton Manning, we still have no real news on Peyton Manning this Monday morning. Well, that actually depends on what you believe. The Denver Broncos are supposedly out of the hunt for Manning, according to the Examiner's Tennessee Titans writer:
According to league, and other sources the Denver Broncos, once thought to be the leading candidate has been eliminated, leaving the San Francisco 49ers to wait with the new favorite Tennessee Titans.
Aside from the poor grammar at the start of the sentence, there is no real way to verify this report, just as we have been unable to do with so many other reports about Peyton Manning over the last week-plus.
The Denver Post's Mike Klis refutes that in a tweet by writing that the Broncos haven't been told that, but that could just be spin he's receiving from the team. Rampant, unnamed sources continue to dominate the Peyton Manning Sweepstakes.
