NFL Free Agency 2012: Brady Quinn Agrees To Deal With Chiefs

The Kansas City Chiefs lost out on Peyton Manning, but they appear to have found their backup for Matt Cassel this coming season by signing former Denver Broncos backup quarterback Brady Quinn, reports the Kansas City Star's Adam Teicher. The terms of his contract are currently unknown.

Quinn never played in a regular season game for the Broncos after being acquired in the Peyton Hillis deal with the Cleveland Browns. In two seasons with the Broncos, Quinn backed up Kyle Orton and Tim Tebow. He almost entered the Broncos' playoff game in January, either as a change-of-pace/situational role or for injury (the latter had the Broncos defeated the New England Patriots instead of losing).

The Broncos had given some thought bringing back Quinn, but with the Peyton Manning Circus still running who knows what is happening at the position for the Broncos.
