2012 NFL Free Agency: Paul Soliai Is 'On The Brink' Of Re-Signing With Dolphins

After showing enough interest to schedule a visit with the Denver Broncos, free agent defensive tackle Paul Soliai is on the brink of re-signing with the Miami Dolphins on Wednesday, according to Jeff Darlington of NFL.com. He also reports that Soliai is in Miami's facility right now, so a deal could be reached quite soon.

Soliai, 28, has been a key defensive lineman for Miami over the past few years, emerging as a starter during the 2010 season. Since the beginning of 2010, he's started 27 games for the Dolphins, proving to be an effective run stopper up the middle.

A fourth-round pick by Miami in 2007, Soliai was planning on visiting Denver brass soon, but it appears that the Dolphins have swayed him to cancel the trip and remain with his original team.
