While there is still no decision from Peyton Manning on which team he will join, are the Denver Broncos the team in the best position to sign him? Mile High Sports' Brandon Spano can't definitively say that, but he apparently has confirmed that the Broncos are in deep contract talks with the quarterback:
Just got confirmation that the Broncos are still in contract talks with Peyton Manning's camp today and are much further along.

Of course, Spano reported last week that the Kansas City Chiefs had offered a contract to Manning already. Yet, Manning is a free agent and the Chiefs receive nary a mention lately. Of course, the Chiefs could certainly have offered that and Manning and agent Tom Condon could have said no. Who knows?
Just more of the circus surrounding Peyton Manning these days.
