Cleveland Browns free agent safety Mike Adams is the second defensive back heading to Denver for a visit with the Broncos. Adams tweeted on Wednesday afternoon that he was heading to the airport for a flight to the Mile High City;
Headed to arpt clev fans.. Unfortunately not to clev...i will visit DENVER....

On Tuesday night, Chicago Bears safety Brandon Meriweather took a free agent trip out to Denver. The Broncos have a need at safety even if Brian Dawkins is healthy enough following a neck injury that kept him out for the last several games of the 2011 season. Quinton Carter was good as a rookie while Rahim Moore didn't fare as well.
So far the Broncos are staying patient and not overpaying for a free agent. Plus the whole Peyton Manning thing.
