2012 NFL Mock Draft: SB Nation Predicts Mike Adams For Chiefs, Nick Perry To Chargers

While the Denver Broncos will need to wait until the first round is nearly concluded to make its first-round draft pick, the Kansas City Chiefs will pick just outside the top 10 and the San Diego Chargers remain inside the top 20. Where will each of these teams looks to upgrade this offseason? SB Nation's latest 2012 NFL mock draft doesn't stray from the projected areas of offensive line and pass-rushing for the teams, respectively.

At No. 11, the Chiefs select the fast-rising Ohio State offensive tackle Mike Adams. He's already worked his way into being the No. 3 offensive tackle in this draft, making him a top-15 selection while Matt Kalil and Riley Reiff are likely to both go in the top five choices.

At No. 18, the Chargers could also use some help on the offensive line, but they also need to upgrade their pass-rushing ability and with this choice they go with USC's Nick Perry. Perry played defensive end in college, but this mock draft projects him to move to linebacker. Will this pass-rusher actually work out for them this time?

The Raiders, of course, don't have a first-round draft choice, because it was traded to the Bengals in the Carson Palmer trade.
