The Denver Broncos are committed to quarterback Tim Tebow next season according to general manager John Elway, but that doesn't mean the team is totally set with the quarterback position on its depth chart. The Broncos have been rumored to pursue anyone from Peyton Manning to David Garrard, and now we have a new name to throw into the mix: Detroit Lions quarterback Drew Stanton.
#lions QB Drew Stanton to test free agency according to sources, don't be surprised if #broncos make a run at him for backup behind #tebow

Stanton was last seen in 2010 when he played in six games for Detroit. He ended the year with a 58 percent completion percentage in 119 attempts, as well as four touchdown passes, three interceptions, and a QB rating of 78.4. Stanton did not enter a game last season. With the Lions hoping to bring back quarterback Shaun Hill, who's also a free agent, Stanton could be looking for a new opportunity.
