Broncos Free Agency 2012: Peyton Manning, Vince Young Seen As Possible QB Options For Broncos

We're fast approaching the early March deadline for Peyton Manning's roster bonus to kick in or to see him released. If Manning is released, there are plenty of teams (including the AFC West's Kansas City Chiefs) who attempt to swiftly bring Manning into the fold. The Denver Broncos could certainly be an interested party, but the Denver Post's Mike Klis also brings up a good point about this:

John Elway did say, remember, Tebow would be the starter entering training camp. So Manning would take No. 2 reps during minicamp and through the first week of training camp?

Would the Broncos really bring in Manning and tell him that he needs to compete for the starting job? Or would we have a similar situation to last year when Tebow looked to have the starting job heading into camp and then had it pulled away at the last second?

Klis also suggests Vince Young could be a quarterback of interest to the Broncos -- obviously, because he can't throw but is a "winner," which Klis also points out. Uh, huh. . . .
