Ty Warren Injury Update: Broncos HC John Fox Says DT 'Nearly Recovered' From Torn Triceps

Denver Broncos defensive lineman Ty Warren signed a two-year, $8 million deal with the team back in August of 2011, but he suffered a torn triceps in practice during that same month and missed the entire season as a result. Warren's absence left the Broncos very thin at defensive tackle last season, but Broncos head coach John Fox told Lindsay H. Jones of the Denver Post on Thursday that Ty Warren is nearly recovered from his injury and will begin a weightlifting program soon.

Warren came into the league as the No. 13 overall to the New England Patriots in the 2003 NFL Draft, but he turned 31 years old on February 6 and has now missed the past two seasons due to injury. News of his recovery may affect how the Broncos approach the 2012 NFL draft, but is it safe to count on Warren heading into next season?
