2012 NFL Mock Draft: SB Nation Sticks With Miami RB Lamar Miller For Denver Broncos

The Denver Broncos won't pick any worse than No. 25 and the latest mock drafts are taking that into account. SB Nation's Ryan Van Bibber offers his latest 2012 NFL mock draft after the completion of the Wild Card round of the 2012 NFL Playoffs. For the Denver Broncos, Van Bibber gives them Miami Hurricanes running back Lamar Miller -- again.

Van Bibber writes:

Might as well give him [Tebow] the weapons to work with. It's a small miracle that the Broncos managed to find some usefulness in Willis McGahee, but they really need speed. Miller provides that along with a natural burst that will make him a threat in that offense.

He understates McGahee's contribution to the team. McGahee had seven 100-yard rushing games and went over 1,000 yards for the season. That's more than just "some usefulness." Yet, as we all know, McGahee is going to turn 31 during the upcoming 2012 season and he might not be able to duplicate his performance again. Drafting a back like Miller would allow the Broncos to pave the way for the future while also keeping the now.
