The Denver Broncos pulled off an amazing overtime victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 2012 NFL Playoffs. On the first play of the extra period, Tim Tebow threw a deep pass to Demaryius Thomas, who caught the ball and fought his way down the field for the 80-yard touchdown and the victory, 29-23. Thomas delivered one strong stiff arm on that play to make the score possible.
The players delight, the fans delight, John Elway jumps up and down.Tebow "tebows." The modified overtime rules that took place for the first time ever never came into play since a touchdown kept it true sudden death.
Tebow finished the game 10-of-21 for 316 yards and two touchdown passes. The rushing game piled up just 131 yards this week.
The Denver Broncos will now face the New England Patriots on the road next week.
