Casey Hampton Injury Update: Steelers DT Hurts Knee

The Pittsburgh Steelers defense has been utterly dominant in the opening quarter of the playoff matchup against the Denver Broncos. Denver has only gained eight total yards, and even more surprisingly, the vaunted rushing attack has been limited to zero yards.

However, the Steelers may have to keep this performance up without one of their defensive anchors, as John Clayton of ESPN reports that Casey Hampton is questionable to return after injuring his knee:

@ClaytonESPN: Steelers DT Casey Hampton suffered a knee injury. His return is questionable.

Hampton is in his 11th year with the Steelers and has consistently been one of the best run-stoppers in the NFL. The Steelers DT was impressive this season, recording 31 tackles in just 13 games.
