NFL Playoff Picks: SB Nation Favors Steelers Over Broncos, 2-1

The Denver Broncos are just one day away from determining if they will survive for another week in the 2012 NFL Playoffs or if they will need to lick their wounds, regroup for the fall and ponder what exactly they are going to do with Tim Tebow. While it appears that the Broncos are generally committed to Tebow for the 2012 season, a poor game against the Pittsburgh Steelers could result in a change of mind.

SB Nation had its team blogs pick the outcomes of the game, and predictably the results are of partisan nature. Behind the Steel Curtain expects the Steelers to run away with the game, 28-10, while Mile High Report foresees the Broncos squeaking out a 13-10 victory.

SB Nation's Joel Thorman breaks the tie and settles this in favor of the Steelers:

SBNation.com pick: This game should be easy to explain, really. The Broncos overwhelmingly favor running the ball and the Steelers are a top 10 run defense. Tim Tebow's inabilities in the passing game finally end the Broncos season. Steelers win, 17-6.

That is a perfectly reasonable expectation for this game. The Broncos struggled to score three points against the Kansas City Chiefs at Mile High to end the season. Going up against perhaps the best defense in the league with a shaky quarterback? Tell me how this ends.
