2012 NFL Playoffs: Maurkice Pouncey To Miss Steelers Vs. Broncos

The Pittsburgh Steelers won't have a healthy offensive line for Sunday's 2012 AFC Wild Card game against the Denver Broncos. Center Maurkice Pouncey has been ruled out for the game with an injured left ankle, according to Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. Pouncey was limited in practice on Wednesday and then sat out on Thursday. He will be officially declared out when the Steelers release Friday's injury report later in the afternoon.

Doug Legursky is expected to move into the starting center position while Chris Kemoeatu will take over at left guard, Dulac further reports. This now means that the Steelers will be without its starting running back Rashard Mendenhall and its anchor on the offensive line in Pouncey. And with Ben Roethlisberger's ankle ailing, to a degree, could the Broncos pull off the upset?
