Just like most of the 2011 season, the Denver Broncos are going to be underdogs when it comes to picking them against the Pittsburgh Steelers. We need only look at CBS Sports' picks for Wild Card weekend to see that the Broncos are not going to be picked by the experts.
All five CBS panelists select the Pittsburgh Steelers to win the game in a straight pick'em. The only other one that the five are unanimous on is the New Orleans Saints over the Detroit Lions, another game that has a large point spread.
However, when the panelists pick against the spread, things change for both games. The Broncos actually have selectors turn to them since 8.5 points might be too much for the Steelers to win by. Three select the Lions since the Saints are favored by 10.5 points.
While none of these experts are selecting the underdogs in either of these games, we would be wise to expect one upset out of this set.
