NFL Playoffs 2012: Steelers Vs. Broncos Odds

The Denver Broncos are big underdogs at home to the Pittsburgh Steelers in the opening round of the 2012 NFL Playoffs. The Steelers opened as eight point favorites, according to Odds Shark, and other lines almost immediately moved the Steelers as nine point favorites.

This is not all that surprising. With loss to the New England Patriots, the Buffalo Bills and the Kansas City Chiefs, the Broncos are down and almost out entering this game. The oddsmakers certainly don't see many people in favor of the Broncos this week. Tim Tebow has left a sour taste in many mouths.

Even if the Broncos defense can match the Steelers' normally solid defense, Tebow will need to make plays, which he clearly wasn't able to do on Sunday against the Chiefs. Will the expected loss of Rashard Mendenhall for the Steelers move the lines as the week goes on?
