2012 Pro Bowl Roster: Broncos Safety Brian Dawkins Added To AFC Team

On Thursday, the NFL notified Denver Broncos safety Brian Dawkins that he had been selected to his ninth Pro Bowl.

The veteran safety was named an alternate in late December, and made the AFC squad in place of Pittsburgh safety Troy Polamalu, who will not participate due to injury.

Dawkins will join five of his Denver teammates in Hawaii for the game on Jan. 29: Ryan Clady, Willis McGahee, Von Miller, Elvis Dumervil and Champ Bailey. The Bronocos have not had this many participants in the game since seven attended back in 2001.
