The first-year head coach of the Denver Broncos, John Fox, said on Monday's press conference that the team might look to re-acquire the services of backup quarterback Brady Quinn. According to Fox, Quinn may have a future with Denver:
There's that possibility ... he impressed me throughout the year.
After losing in a 45-10 blowout to the New England Patriots on Saturday, the Broncos have officially entered their offseason mode. Top among their priorities is the assessment of their quarterback situation. The team started the season with Kyle Orton as their quarterback, but named Tim Tebow the starter in Week 7.
After the first few rough starts from Tebow, speculation began that the Broncos might give Quinn, a former first round draft pick for the Cleveland Browns. In only 14 NFL games, Brady has thrown 10 TDs and 9 INTs for a career 66.8 QB Rating. The Broncos appear to be committed to Tebow for the time being, but Quinn would make a strong candidate for backup QB position.
