With the Denver Broncos eliminated from the NFL Playoffs, offensive coordinator Mike McCoy is now available to be interviewed by teams who are interested in him potentially filling an open head coaching vacancy. The first team on McCoy's calendar is reportedly the Miami Dolphins, who will interview McCoy on Monday, according to ESPN's Chris Mortensen.

McCoy was at one point slated to interview with the Jacksonville Jaguars about their opening at head coach, but the position was filled by Atlanta Falcons offensive coordinator Mike Mularkey before McCoy ever had a chance to formally interview. The Dolphins, who were left at the altar by new St. Louis Rams head coach Jeff Fisher, are early in the restart of their coaching search.
