Broncos Vs. Patriots Injury Report: Brian Dawkins, Eric Decker Miss Thursday's Practice

The Denver Broncos had no change on Thursday's injury report for Saturday's contest against the New England Patriots in the 2012 NFL Playoffs. Unless a miracle happens, safety Brian Dawkins and wide receiver Eric Decker will miss the game. Both missed their second day of practice. Dawkins has missed the last two games after injuring his neck while inadvertently tackling teammate Robert Ayers. Decker incurred a sprained MCL when James Harrison delivered a hit to his leg in Sunday's game.

David Bruton will start in place of Dawkins, but he was limited in practice, as he has been the last few weeks. Elvis Dumervil and Daniel Fells were also limited while Von Miller was at full capacity. Long snapper Lonie Paxton was excused for personal reasons.

Here is Thursday's injury report:

Name Pos Injury Wed. Thu.
David Bruton S Achilles LP LP
Brian Dawkins S Neck DNP DNP
Eric Decker WR Knee DNP DNP
Elvis Dumervil DE Ankle LP LP
Daniel Fells TE Ankle LP LP
Von Miller SLB Thumb FP FP
