Broncos Vs. Patriots, 2012 NFL Playoffs: Denver Biggest Underdog In Divisional Round

The Denver Broncos were nine-point underdogs to the Pittsburgh Steelers last weekend at home. This weekend, the Broncos will be on the road against the New England Patriots and in an even larger hole. The line for this game hasn't shifted since the Patriots opened as 13.5 point favorites and saw it move to 14 points shortly thereafter, as Odds Shark informs us.

This is a game about Tom Brady versus Tim Tebow. Can the Broncos stop Brady from building a big lead early on, forcing the Broncos to throw early and often? If that does happen early, we'll need to see how Tebow responds. While last week's 316 passing yards and two touchdown passes are improvements, Tebow completed just 10-of-21 passes. He still needs to work on consistency in that area.

If the Broncos pull off the upset, it would be the biggest one of the weekend. The New York Giants are only underdogs between 7.5 points and 9 points to the Green Bay Packers. The Houston Texans enter Sunday's game against the Baltimore Ravens underdogs at 7.5 or 9 points. The San Francisco 49ers are home underdogs to the New Orleans Saints by 3.5 points.
