2012 NFL Mock Draft: SI.com Predicts TE Dwayne Allen To Broncos

The 2012 NFL Draft for the Denver Broncos, according to many draft experts, will be a time for the team help Tim Tebow out by picking up some new weapons. Running back and tight end appear to be the best choices for the team to look at, and that's where Sports Illustrated's Andrew Perloff has the Broncos looking in his latest NFL mock draft.

The Broncos go with Clemson Tigers tight end Dwayne Allen at No. 25 overall because:

Tight ends are usually a great aid to quarterbacks who struggle with accuracy. Allen won the Mackey Award for the nation's top tight end and could quickly become Tim Tebow's best friend.

Allen did catch eight touchdown passes and haul in nearly 600 receiving yards in his junior season.

It is also possible that wide receiver would be a position the team could look toward in the draft. Baylor wide receiver Kendall Wright could offer another speedy, playmaking target for Tim Tebow. Demaryius Thomas is shaping up to be Tebow No. 1 target while Eric Decker and Eddie Royal serve as better third options for the quarterback.
