With a game coming up on Saturday, the Denver Broncos hit the practice field a day early, though they are not required to file an official practice report until Wednesday.
But the Post's Jeff Legwold was there to watch on Tuesday and has some notes from the workout:
Safeties David Bruton (Achilles) and Brian Dawkins (neck) were among the players who were not participating in Tuesday's practice as the Broncos began their on-field preparations for Saturday night's Divisional round game in Foxborough, Mass.
Legwold also says that defensive end Elvis Dumervil, tight end Daniel Fells and wide receiver Eric Decker also were not participating in the portion of workouts he saw. Decker is not expected to be able to play against New England after suffering a knee injury on Sunday.
