2012 NFL Mock Draft: Broncos Could Look At Clemson TE Dwayne Allen

The Denver Broncos have at least one game and possibly as many as three to determine where its 2012 NFL first round draft pick will fall anywhere between Nos. 25 and 32. If the Broncos lose to the New England Patriots on Saturday, the team will own the No. 25. Win, and the team moves into the next bracket.

But if the team were picking at No. 25 in the draft, CBS Sports' Dane Brugler sees the Broncos looking at Clemson tight end Dwayne Allen:

If the Broncos decide to stick with Tim Tebow as their quarterback, they need to surround him with as many weapons as possible. Allen is the best all-around tight end in this class and presents a big target for the quarterback. He will start from day one in the NFL and give the Broncos a talented safety valve.

Dwayne is 6-feet-4 and 255 pounds, having caught 50 balls for 598 yards and two touchdowns. Adding a talent like Allen makes sense. Daniel Fells and Dante Rosario aren't great starters and Julius Thomas and Virgil Green still have much to show. If Allen is as good as many believe, Tim Tebow will have three to four options to throw to when he looks down and across the field.
