Denver Broncos head coach John Fox wasn't kidding when he said that Brady Quinn and Tim Tebow would both be listed as the No. 2 quarterback on the depth chart. Just take a look at the Broncos' depth chart on the official website:
Remember, Fox is doing this to not give opponents a competitive advantage should an injury strike.
Jeff Legwold of the Denver Post, though, breaks down how that listing would actually work out if Orton was out for any reason. Quinn is likely the backup who will come in if Orton is injured or needs to sit out a few plays. Tebow, on the other hand, can come in and play in his own package situations, as he did last year before starting the final three games of the season.
What that means, essentially, is that we'd see Tebow enter the game and orchestrate a designed quarterback run. However, that would be just a bit predictable for the opposing teams. Fox surely has plans for utilizing Tebow in a special role this season.
