Eddie Royal's Groin Injury Could Cost Him At Least Two Games

Denver Broncos wide receiver Eddie Royal will be out for at least two games and maybe even as many as four, according to the Denver Post's Mike Klis. Royal's strained groin should keep him out for games on the road against the Tennessee Titans and the Green Bay Packers. However, Klis believes the timetable will more likely be four weeks. That means he would miss out on a home game against the San Diego Chargers before the bye week allows him to return to action against the Miami Dolphins.

While Tim Tebow was forced into action as an emergency wide receiver, expect the Broncos to bring in some players on Tuesday for tryouts. The team could also turn to the practice squad and promote Eron Riley. Either way, the Broncos will need to cut someone to add an extra receiver to the roster.

Eric Decker stands to gain the most from this injury, as he will remain one of the team's starting wide receivers. If Brandon Lloyd is still unable to go because of his groin injury, Matthew Willis will also move into a starter's role.
