Week 2 NFL Injury Report: Fantasy Football Owners Should Pay Attention To Broncos' Inactives

As we saw in Friday's injury report for the Bengals vs. Broncos game, Denver has four players listed as questionable. From a team standpoint, losing all four players for this game is a huge blow for a team that does not need its best players off the field for even a few snaps. But it is looking more and more like at least three of them won't play: Champ Bailey, Elvis Dumervil and Knowshon Moreno. Brandon Lloyd practiced on Friday and is more likely than the others to play.

For fantasy owners, Lloyd and Moreno are the two main players to be concerned with. What should be done with them?

Brandon Lloyd, WR: Lloyd's groin injury prevented him from practicing on Wednesday and Thursday, but he returned on Friday. Will he be at full strength, though, is another question. He is listed as questionable for the game. Eddie Royal and Eric Decker will benefit if he is unable to play or is limited in game action. Sit Lloyd if you have better options in the early games. He's a risk to start, but if he does play Kyle Orton will surely look for him often.

Knowshon Moreno, RB: The team has brought Jeremiah Johnson up from the practice squad, which is an indication that he is extremely unlikely to play. Sit. If you coupled him with Willis McGahee there's no reason not to start McGahee. Lance Ball could poach some carries, but look for the power game to be emphasized with McGahee likely to start.

If you play in an individual defensive player league, sit Bailey and Dumervil.
