2011 Fantasy Football Week 2 Start/Sit: Brandon Lloyd, Knowshon Moreno Injuries Caution Fantasy Owners

Injuries to a few Denver Broncos players will force fantasy owners to make some decisions this week.

After Week 1 of the NFL season, fantasy footballers are already dealing with injuries underperformance. The Denver Broncos are dealing with their own issues there, which will affect decisions on many fantasy teams. Let's breakdown of each fantasy position on the Broncos:

QB. Head coach John Fox is going to stick with Kyle Orton since this position is the least of the team's worries after Monday's loss. However, that doesn't make Orton any better an option of now than he was before the season. Throwing for over 300 yards is nice, but his interception and fumble hurt his numbers. Sit or keep as a backup.

RB. Running the ball was not bread and butter for the Broncos on Monday. Knowshon Moreno struggled to reach 22 yards and has a hamstring injury. Knowshon Moreno didn't get many carries, but he did catch five passes for 32 yards. McGahee is in line to pick up more carries if Moreno's hamstring prevents him from playing or limits his time on the field. Sit Moreno, start McGahee

WR. Monday's game made it clear that Kyle Orton still locks onto Brandon Lloyd as his go-to receiver. He picked up 86 yards, but no touchdowns. He also hurt his hamstring. Eric Decker is living up to his sleeper expectations with a strong first game, but most of that came from 90-yard punt return for a touchdown. He also had 53 receiving yards. Start Lloyd (if healthy) and Decker. Eddie Royal could be a third wide receiver.

TE. John Fox like his quarterback to pass to his tight end, but that doesn't mean it will pile up the numbers. Daniel Fells caught three passes for 32 yards. Sit Fells, but keep an eye on Julius Thomas' development.

K. Matt Prater sliced a 56-yard field goal, but still came up with seven points.

DEF. Darren McFadden tore through the Broncos rush defense for 150 yards and Michael Bush had 30 yards and a touchdown. But if you play in an IDP league, Brian Dawkins and Champ Bailey were tackling all over the field and Von Miller was as well. Elvis Dumervil's shoulder strain makes him a questionable start for now. Sit Broncos DEF, but individual players are good.
