Fantasy Football Start 'Em, Sit 'Em Week 1: Darren McFadden A Good Play, Knowshon Moreno Not So Much

Sunday is the bulk of fantasy football play, but take note of two players who are in Monday's game: the Broncos' Knowshon Moreno and the Raiders' Darren McFadden.

The NFL regular season began and saw some solid fantasy games from Drew Brees and Aaron Rodgers, but now things begin in earnest on Sunday with the majority of teams playing. Who are some of the AFC West players you should start or sit in your fantasy football league?

Knowshon Moreno, RB: Moreno is the starting running back for the Denver Broncos and he will face the Oakland Raiders on Monday night. However, Willis McGahee was brought in to be the goal line back, potentially vulturing touchdowns for Moreno. SB Nation lists Moreno as No. 1 start this week, but ESPN's Christopher Harris isn't buying into Moreno as a productive fantasy back. SIT (for this week, but monitor the game for future needs)

Dwayne Bowe, WR: Bowe would have taken a serious downgrade had the Kansas City Chiefs' Matt Cassel's rib injury prevented him from playing. But Cassel will play and should find Bowe plenty of times (though that doesn't make Cassel a great play). START

Darren McFadden, RB: McFadden shredded the Broncos defense in both games last season, but none more so than in the 59-14 victory at Mile High. He had 165 yards and three touchdowns on the ground. He didn't play in the preseason due to an orbital bone injury, but he should be good to go. The Broncos are already hurting on the defensive line, which could give McFadden a big game. START
