The Denver Broncos will have five players not in uniform for Thursday night's game with the Arizona Cardinals. None of them should be a surprise. Linebacker D.J. Williams is out due to a dislocated elbow; defensive tackle Brodrick Bunkley took a shot to the knee in Saturday's game with the Seahawks; defensive tackle Marcus Thomas has missed the previous two preseason games with a strained pectoral muscle; wide receiver Demaryius Thomas is still recovering from his Achilles injury and won't play until the end of October; and defensive tackle Ty Warren has a torn triceps that will keep him out for most of the season.
For the Cardinals, quarterback John Skelton is out due to a high right ankle sprain. Safety Adrian Wilson is still making his way back from a torn biceps muscle. Cornerback Michael Adams had arthroscopic knee surgery back in early August. Wide receiver DeMarco Sampson is also out.
