Broncos Vs. Cardinals: Injury Update Heading Into Preseason Finale

The Denver Broncos have several starters banged up entering Thursday's preseason finale with the Arizona Cardinals. Most of the starters likely won't play in the game.

The Denver Broncos play their fourth and final game of the preseason with a road trip to face the Arizona Cardinals. The starters are not expected to play much, if at all. And that's a good thing since several starters incurred injuries on Tuesday. Lindsay Jones of the Denver Post has a round-up of the injuries:

-Defensive end Elvis Dumervil has a hurt groin muscle and safety Brian Dawkins twisted his neck.

-D.J. Williams is, of course, not practicing due to a dislocated elbow suffered during Saturday's game against the Seattle Seahawks. Brodrick Bunkley has an injured knee after a hit by a Seahawk over the weekend. He did not practice.

-Bunkley's fellow defensive tackle, Kevin Vickerson, did not due to an ankle injury. With Bunkley, Vickerson, Ty Warren and Marcus Thomas out, the Broncos are thin at the position and have Ryan McBean at defensive tackle for this upcoming game.

-Starting right guard Chris Kuper has a toe injury.

For the Cardinals, SB Nation Arizona reports that the team has injuries to a few young players who could use the playing time to make the roster.
