Von Miller 'Should Make Beautiful Music' With Elvis Dumervil, Writes Peter King

Anyone who was watching Saturday's game between the Denver Broncos and the Seattle Seahawks had to be impressed with Broncos rookie linebacker Von Miller, the No. 2 overall selection back in April. He totaled four tackles, four quarterback hits and two sacks in that game. His first sack came the previous week against the Buffalo Bills.

Miller was the most impressive defensive player this weekend to Sports Illustrated's Peter King. As he writes in "Monday Morning QB":

The best game by a defensive player this weekend gives the Broncos reason to think they struck gold with their first draft choice. He and Elvis Dumervil should make beautiful music together.

We saw that beautiful music on Saturday, as well. Dumervil had 1-1/2 sacks, his first of the preseason and first since the 2009 regular season, the year his 17 sacks led the league.

We've seen Miller put his hand on the ground this preseason, but no matter where Miller is on the field, he and Dumervil are going to inspire fear in opposing quarterbacks and offensive linemen.
