Broncos Vs. Seahawks Score: Denver Keeps Seattle Quiet With 10-3 Halftime Lead

The Denver Broncos hold a 10-3 lead at halftime over the Seattle Seahawks. Matt Prater kicked a 57-yard field goal midway through the second quarter to add to the Broncos' 7-3 lead. The ball barely made it through the uprights, hugging the left upright on the inside. He missed a field at the end of the half that was closer to a 70-yard attempt than a 60-yard attempt.

Kyle Orton went 12-of-17 for 144 yards and one interception in the first half. He may come out for the third quarter, possibly just for the first series. Knowshon Moreno broke off a few nice runs and has 46 yards on nine carries. Willis McGahee scored the only touchdown of the game with a two-yard rush early in the second quarter. Rookie tight end Julius Thomas is the leading receiver with three catches for 50 yards. Eric Decker had a key 24-yar reception on the scoring drive.

The Broncos defense has done a good job preventing the Seahawks from gaining any traction. Elvis Dumervil has 1.5 sacks to go along with fellow defensive end Von Miller's one sack. Seahawks quarterback Tarvaris Jackson is just 7-of-16 for 44 yards. Leon Washington has seven of the team's rushing yards.
