Broncos Vs. Seahawks: Tim Tebow Expected To Be Broncos No. 2 QB On Saturday

The Denver Broncos and the Seattle Seahawks play Saturday night in an old AFC West rivalry game. Tim Tebow is expected to be the Broncos' No. 2 quarterback in the game.

One week after being demoted to the third-string and barely playing in the Denver Broncos' victory over the Buffalo Bills, Tim Tebow is expected to be the No. 2 quarterback for the team on Saturday against the Seattle Seahawks, reports Mike Klis of the Denver Post. While head coach John Fox didn't publicly announce it, Klis believes that Tebow will get the spot because he received extra time with the second-stringers this week that Brady Quinn did not.

Kyle Orton is expected to play into the opening drive of the third quarter before Tebow relieves him. However, this might not be an indication that Tebow has jumped back up the depth chart. This could be to get him some more development time. He played the final minutes of the fourth quarter, but not much else. What we should be looking at is in the fourth and final preseason game. Kyle Orton and the starters will likely play very little. Who replaces him then might provide an indication on who will be his backup--if it isn't decided before that point.
